I am an enthusiastic Manual Osteopathic Therapist & Registered Massage Therapist with 21 years of experience in the Health and Wellness field!

My journey of learning started by obtaining a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Physiotherapy (11+ years) & Psychology, and I have a diploma in Guidance and Counselling. I graduated with Honors with Distinction from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada.

I believe that the body can self-heal and self-regulate; however, to do so, the body must be in a position to allow proper physiological function of the musculoskeletal, visceral systems, blood flow, and lymphatics, by removing the anatomical root cause of the problem, the body is better able to function properly. Thus, I focus on a treatment plan that helps strengthen the body’s framework by using various modalities like Osteoarticulation, Myofascial Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Muscle Energy Technique.

Your body’s ability to heal is greater than what you may believe – I would love the opportunity to work together and be a part of your healing journey!

Areas of Focus: - Osteoarticulation, - Myofascial therapy - Craniosacral therapy - Visceral Manipulation - Exercise Therapy - Ultrasound therapy

Tammie Bussiere is a licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner in Alberta, nationally certified in Canada. She is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can reconnect with their innate ability to heal.

Her calling to help others began at sixteen after a serious accident left her hospitalized for months. With a background in acute care as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, Tammie has spent much of her career supporting others in recovery and rehabilitation.

After losing several family members — and facing her own diagnosis of Stage III colon cancer — she was drawn to study acupuncture and holistic healing. Her experience led her to explore how emotions, trauma, and energy imbalances affect the body, and how restoring balance supports true wellness.

Tammie’s approach integrates her personal healing journey with the principles of TCM, emphasizing balance, resilience, and self-discovery. She partners with clients to support their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, meeting each person exactly where they are on their path to healing.

I have a holistic view of health and well-being and use massage therapy as a tool to bring balance back to the body and mind. I completed my 2200-hour RMT training at MacEwan University in 2018! My program included Relaxation/Swedish massage, Injury prevention/Recovery massage, Sports massage, Prenatal massage, Deep tissue massage, Trigger point therapy, and Myofascial techniques.

My approach to Massage Therapy looks at the body as a whole unit. I treat the structures that are directly affected, as well as other structures that may be indirectly affected.

I also studied Manual Osteopathic Therapy at the National Manual Osteopathic College (NMOC). I mix osteopathic techniques like fascia release, and visceral manipulation into massage as tools to aid in the alignment and recovery of the body.

While studying manual osteopathy I found great interest and excitement in Craniosacral therapy. I plan to further my education by specializing in Craniosacral therapy, learning more about the central nervous system, and treating neurological dysfunction.

With Massage Therapy, I hope to aid and educate my patients. Providing them with treatments, as well as guiding them to develop their own skill set to better help themselves.
