*Amy is currently suffering from chronic migraines and allergies and although she feels awful doing so, she may need to cancel your appointment last minute on occasion. She greatly appreciates your understanding.

Amy is a board-license Acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist who has a passion for helping people, meeting people where they are, and finding the best way to work with her patients to help them feel better. She completed both her Massage Therapy and Acupuncture studies through MacEwan University, graduating in 2019 and 2023.

She has turned her personal struggles with chronic pain, chronic migraines, autoimmune disorders, and allergies into a passion for helping others who may be suffering from the same conditions. This allows her to relate to her clients and better understand where they are coming from so she is able to meet them exactly where they are. Amy uses her education, knowledge, and personal experiences with acupuncture and massage to create customized treatment plans for each patient to help them feel their best.

In January of 2019, she began a case study on the Effects of Massage Therapy on Multiple Sclerosis. Nearly 2 years later, in December 2020, she published a paper on this same case study in the International Journal of Therapeutic Bodywork and Massage. In her study, she focused on the patient’s fatigue level, mobility, and edema in the ankle affected by MS. The results suggested that massage therapy is effective in treating fatigue, mobility, and edema in those with MS. This study brought to light her passion for working with the body and helping to facilitate the body’s natural healing process.

Hi! My name is Chantal 😊

I graduated as an RMT in January 2021, and have been enjoying this rewarding profession for almost 4 years!

I am excited to offer Hot Bamboo Massages, in addition to relaxation, therapeutic, hot stone, cupping, pre/post-natal, and induction massage. A combination of Swedish, therapeutic, trigger point, and gentle joint mobilization techniques softens tension and provides an effective massage.

I’m a mother of four: three ‘twenty-somethings’ and one teen. Having gone through four pregnancies, I empathize with women’s physical and emotional tension during pregnancy, after delivery, and throughout motherhood. I’m also familiar with the intensity, physical, emotional, and mental stress of Special Needs life and parenting, as a couple of my children are on the Autism Spectrum (with co-morbidities).

Doing pre- and postnatal treatments is one of my passions. To help (new) moms feel better (physically, but also emotionally and mentally) while working together to form a treatment plan that works, is priceless.

I love focusing on the head, neck, and back to melt away headaches, relax upper and lower back tension, and increase circulation. I enjoy incorporating a scalp treatment to aid in relaxation and stress relief.

Regardless of a client’s needs, my aim is to create a safe, warm, and relaxing environment for everyone.

Services Offered:

  • Relaxation, Therapeutic & Deep Tissue Massage
  • Pre- & Post-natal Massage
  • Induction Massage Therapy
  • Hot Bamboo Massage
  • Hot Stone Massage
  • Cupping

I’m excited to collaborate with you in achieving your therapeutic goals. My focus, whether through a deep tissue treatment or a relaxation massage, is to aid in the calming of your nervous system and respect its varying limitations. Using a variation of myofascial release techniques, trigger point therapy, and/or cupping, I take the time to address your pain while staying within your tolerance, ensuring effective treatment without causing increased and unnecessary discomfort.

Please be patient with me as my hours change through the seasons, as I am currently pursuing my Acupuncture Accreditation at Grant MacEwan University, graduating in the Class of 2026.

With such enthusiasm, Valerie can proudly say she was grateful enough to have found a career in which she was able to fall in love and be successful.

Her passion and desire grew more when she saw how rewarding it was to help those in need. The feedback and loyalty from her clientele helped her to focus on continuing to build trust and connection with her clients. She’s always had a heart to give help where it’s needed!

As she started her career working with multiple modalities of therapy and becoming more involved within the fitness community, she learned how much more important taking care of your body is.

Valerie began her massage career at MH Vicars in January 2018 and successfully completed the diploma program in June 2019. Within the 2200-hour massage program, she studied MLD, and how to treat various types of conditions; i.e. carpal tunnel, spine curvatures, frozen shoulder, etc. She is also now certified in Hot Stone Massage and Myofascial Cupping.

She is looking forward to continuing to grow her practice by completing other beneficial courses. Her primary focus is deep tissue/trigger point therapy and nerve entrapment.

Having built her career within the health industry profession it’s made her more aware and encourages her to stay on top of her health. They do say to “practice what you preach!”

Hi, my name is Brigitte, and my love for receiving massages is what drew me into getting my diploma in massage therapy. Seeing and feeling the benefits firsthand, I knew I wanted to pass this on to others.

I am trained in:

  • Swedish techniques (relaxation)
  • Deep tissue (therapeutic)
  • Myofascial (connective tissues) and
  • Trigger point therapy (for stubborn areas)
  • TMJD Treatments
  • Migraine Relief
  • Hot Stone Massage
  • Hot Bamboo Massage
  • Oncology Massage (Cancer)

I have taken extra courses in TMJD (to help release disorders in the temporomandibular joints of the jaw), migraine training, as well as hot stone and hot bamboo for added healing properties.

I most recently received my certification in treating Oncology clients. Whether you are in remission or going through the process, I can help with swelling (edema), joint pain, and general relaxation. Please bring a doctor’s note with you saying you are cleared for massage.

My goal is to reduce your pain, stress, or anxiety, and send you forward feeling much better!

I graduated from the Makami College 3000-hour Massage Therapy Program in August 2020!

I chose Massage Therapy as a career path because I genuinely enjoy making other people feel better. Decreasing pain and increasing mobility can greatly contribute to a better, healthier life, which will enable others to do more of the things they love.

I love living an active lifestyle! I play a lot of soccer and volleyball, and whenever possible I enjoy freeing my soul and rooting my mind in the beauty of nature in the mountains. I have a huge love for travel which has been growing ever since 2006. That year, I lived in Romania for 11 months attending a health missionary program, where I was trained in basic massage. I then was able to have first-hand experience helping others using massage therapy, at the nearby Health Center.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you at the clinic!

Please Note: Chelsey does all of her own bookings and has a regular clientele. Please contact us to ask about booking with her! Thank you.
